Recent Criminal Defense Case Successes
At the Law Offices of Tedone and Morton, P.C., we work to provide successful representation for our clients in criminal cases. Some of our recent victories include:
People v. Marcus Gant - (June 15, 2018) Our client was facing a Class X felony charge for possession of controlled substances, and if convicted, he would have faced six to 30 years in prison without the chance of probation. Attorney Cosmo Tedone successfully argued that the drugs found in the vehicle Mr. Gant was driving belonged to someone else, and he was found not guilty.
Joliet Man Not Guilty Of Class X Felony Drug Charges By John Ferak, Patch Staff
People v. Eric Ervins - (June 14, 2018) Our client was facing a three to 14 years imprisonment for a Class 2 felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. We won a motion to quash a search warrant and suppress evidence, ensuring that evidence which was illegally obtained will not be admissible in court.
People v. Eric Guimont - (May 25, 2018) Our client was found not guilty of DUI in a bench trial. If convicted, his driver's license would have been revoked.
People v. Jennifer Grindstaff - (April 27, 2018) Our client was found not guilty of aggravated DUI, a Class 2 felony, in a bench trial. If convicted, she would have faced three to seven years in prison.
